Roué Hupsel
Roué Hupsel was a popular radio icon who left behind an enormous legacy for the radio world in Suriname, South America. He had an impressive knowledge of music, and many called him a ‘walking music encyclopedia’. For 60 years, Roué had been well-known in the media world in Suriname and abroad. Apart from being a radio presenter, he was a journalist, a television presenter, and an author of several novels in the Dutch language.
Roué was well-read and a spiritual man, with a rich imagination which motivated him to write The Anunnaki Countdown – The return of the Gods. He once revealed that when the story came to him, he sat down at his laptop and kept typing continuously for hours while it just came pouring out until its completion.
